On Wednesday your assignment was Page 185 Activity 4 (reviewing chapter 5 concepts) Write each sentence filling in the blank correctly and translate it.

This week you will need your "libro" (book) todos los dias.
Work not completed in class will be tarea.
This is a reminder that as stated in my syllabus, I do not give credit for late work. Homework not turned in at the beginning of class when it is due, will receive 49%. However, homework that was turned in on time (and complete) may be redone for a better grade.
Tarea means homework. Examencito means quiz.

We are using these questions today

¿Qué es/son (esto/estos)? -- What is/are this/these?
¿Quién quiere __ _______? -Who wants _______?

And we will use DOPs Direct Object Pronouns to say I/you/she/he/etc have it/them, I/you/he/she/they/etc want it/them. The it or them is the DOP that takes the place of the food we are learning.
(Yo) ____ quiero.--I have it/them. (The word for it or them should be lo, la, los or las)
Example to say I want it for I want the cheese, you would say (Yo) lo quiero.

-turn in your homework, make sure you underlined the word you filled in the blank before you turn it in.
-read the board, write down your homework, and the vocabulary below:

Copy or know all the nouns from Repaso de Vocabulario 1 on page 225—if it starts with el or la (including el agua)—24 nouns. There will be a notebook quiz on it tomorrow, and you will have to answer a question using querer or tener with food.
Also, remember your field trip form is due jueves.

Tarea: There is no official homework, unless you didn't turn in your permission slip. Your permission slip for the field trip is due on Monday after break to get 10 out of 10 on the first assignment for Quarter 4.

Please practice with the verb quizlets and review your notes for the final exam if you have time over break. You may also want to practice with the karaoke or the lyrics game. If you go to a Spanish restaurant, try to order in Spanish a little… :)
