This weeks you will need your "libro" (book) todos los dias. On Thursday, you may have extra time to work on homework after the quiz.
Work not completed in class will be tarea.
This is a reminder that as stated in my syllabus, I do not give credit for late work. Homework not turned in at the beginning of class when it is due, will receive 49%. However, homework that was turned in on time (and complete) may be redone for a better grade.
Tarea means homework. Examencito means quiz.

lunes (Monday) --Necesitas tu libro.
Yo puedo usar tener y necesitar para hablar de escuela y mi propio horario.
I can use the verbs to have and to need to talk about school and my own schedule.
Vocabulary:
review tener (including tener sayings), necesitar, la hora, y cosas y materias para escuela
(review to have, to need, the time, and things and subjects for school)

tener ganas de + infinitive
primero/a (first)
después (after or next)
Activities:
-turn in your tarea from your entrevista information (3 sentences)
-look at page 123 Activity 4 and answer question 2 and 4 with your neighbors and write it in your notebook.
(primero means first and después means after or next)
-we will discuss when people have what classes in our class and write practice sentences
-we will listen to what a student needs and has for listening activy #1 p. 122
-maybe we will have time to start la tarea
Tarea: Page 123 Activity 5. Write out the whole paragraph, underlining your 12 answers.

-practice with verbs, reviewing what the verb chart looks like

-stem changing verbs
Tarea: Define and conjugate the verb I give you in class in a regular verb chart. If you are absent, check your email as I will email you your verb. You will be doing a project with that verb next week.
