La semana del veinitnueve de febrero (week of 2-29)
This week we will have our 40 point test on verbs on Tuesday. The study guide is under the more tab above called Study Guides, and it is also listed under last week Monday's class. I made copies on Tuesday for those who wanted a paper copy of the study guide and verb list. You should have been studying with the Quizlets your classmates made all last week. The Quizlets to practice verbs tab above has the verbs to study and Quizlets to study them.
On Friday you had a regular assignment (Page 141 Act. 37, read the email with verbs we need to know for our test. You need to know what it means so you can answer the questions with cierto or falso.) and an optional assignment. Go to the previous lessons tab above if you are doing the optional assignment, as you need to see my attachment on the bottom of Friday's lesson. I translated the questions and told you what the English version of the answers should be for the optional assignment and attached the document under Friday. We were going to do that in class, but did not have time due to the snow day.
This week you will need your "libro" (book) todos los dias.
Work not completed in class will be tarea.
This is a reminder that as stated in my syllabus, I do not give credit for late work. Homework not turned in at the beginning of class when it is due, will receive 49%. However, homework that was turned in on time (and complete) may be redone for a better grade.

Tarea: Study for tomorrow's test on verbs using the Quizlets to practice verbs tab above.
You could start Tuesday's homework tonight if you wish as there will be a notebook quiz on Wednesday.

Tarea: You need to make a family tree, with just first names for your family with at least one set of grandparents, like the one we used on page 160 today, and I showed you my example. This is due Friday as we don't have class tomorrow. It needs to be neat so that you can use it for future projects to discuss your family. You can email it to me if you'd like to do it with text boxes and lines like I did, and then you can use it it future projects. If it is emailed, it is due by the beginning of your class period on Friday.

-we will use el árbol genealógico on page 158 to ask and answer questions and describe her family members.
-we will discuss my family members from my family tree

Tarea: You need to pick three different family members (you could include yourself) that are in your family tree to describe with at least 2 sentences, using the vocabulary on page 161, Activity 4. So you are writing at least 6 sentences. This is due on Monday.
