Remember the 100 question midterm will be Tuesday, January 16. STUDY STUDY AND CHECK THURSDAY'S HOMEWORK AND FRIDAY'S CLASSWORK WITH THE LINKS BELOW.
The students should check this page every night because if there are ever any changes to homework, it will be posted here. They are responsible for their homework and la pregunta del dia (the question of the day) every day.
I will post the homework and a rough outline of the week's lessons here for the week. You should always be reviewing your notes and weblinks (see the website links tab above for Spanish 2 and study the links under these headers: "Links to review, assigned September 2017" and

I passed out a pink study guide for the midterm exam. Your teachers will let you out at 10am, so you will have from 10:03-11:30 to work on the exam, and then you will have a shortened lunch period at 11:30. However, you may leave earlier for lunch if you finish earlier. Also, you may bring a snack if you wish to snack while you take your exam. The exam is 100 questions.

If none is posted, you could make the Quizlet tonight and email it to me for a get out of homework free card.

For example if it asked ¿Hablaste en español ayer? You could say No, hablé en español ayer, pero hablé en español el jueves pasado. The person who asked you would not write your name down as you said no, but you gave them more information in Spanish. La semana de dos de enero
la tarea de diciembre fue (the homework from December was): As always remember to do the assignment, prepare the question of the day, and practice weblinks.
TAREA de diciembre: homework for break: Use 5 different -ar verbs and you can use the verb IR in the preterite form to create 5 10-word truthful sentences to say what you or someone in your household did on 5 different days over break. Each sentence needs at least 7 words. Start with the date: El __(#--spelled out of course)__ de _(mes)_ (yo, mi hermano, mi perro y yo, etc.) _________ This is due when we get back (you could start using days this weekend or next week if you don't want as much holiday homework) THEY SHOULD BE TRUE. See the instruction sheet.

Some notes to add to your diary break homework is to remember consonants that change before e
c changes to qu before e, examples: busqué -I looked for, toqué -I touched or I played (as in a musical instrument)
g changes to gu before e, example: jugué -I played (used for games not instruments), llegué -I arrived
z changes to c before e, examples: almorcé -I ate lunch, empecé -I started
These are -car, -gar, -zar -ar verbs.

Also, preread the Extra, Episode 1 sheet that I give you so you are prepared for Monday. Hopefully we can finish it in class so you won't have homework over break.
All you will bring to class on Monday is the adonde van worksheet, the Extra Episode 1 sheet, and a writing utensil.
On Monday everyone will eat lunch first, and then report to the computer lab for Spanish by 11:00 as we are going to watch and discuss a Spanish telenovela together, and hopefully not have any homework over break.

First write the correct form of estar/sentirse or tener for the listed sentence, and then write a sentence with the same phrase saying what is true for you.

Before you begin, read over page 250 and reread page 126 for review. Also the exprésate boxes on page 247 should be helpful.
The sample says: Sometimes Luisa is bored in math class. If you were doing the sample, you would write está or se siente as abuirrida is not a tener idiom. And then you’d write a sentence that was true for you. They said: I’m almost never bored in my classes.
