La semana del nueve de mayo (week of 5-9)
On Thursday (5-5), your homework was to prepare for Monday's notebook quiz.
Tarea: Read page 214 on Affirmative Commands. Then put the vocabulary from the top of page 211 (Questions and Answers) in your notebook and then put all the useful verbs for cooking from section 4 with the sentences following in your notebook as well.
Note: Any of the new verbs from section 4 from the affirmative informal commands box on page 214 (abrir to añadir) and the two sentences from section 4 may be on the notebook quiz, and any of the questions and answers from page 211 may be on your notebook quiz too.
There will be a notebook quiz on Monday.
Go to the previous lessons tab above if you need to see the notes I uploaded from last week. I informed my classes this quarter that if you are absent and you do the notes from the day, you can earn 1 to 2 participation points for the day you were absent.
This week you will need your "libro" (book) todos los dias.
Work not completed in class will be tarea.
This is a reminder that as stated in my syllabus, I do not give credit for late work. Homework not turned in at the beginning of class when it is due, will receive 49%. However, homework that was turned in on time (and complete) may be redone for a better grade.
Tarea means homework. Examencito means quiz.

what do you notice about the irregular ones?
we will practice giving classmates commands
hopefully, we will start the homework together
ten cuidado = be careful
Tarea: page 214, activity 30, but instead of doing the command first, figure out the order first, and write your commands in that order. For example, you would write:
1. lava (#2) (You would write this because the first thing you need to do is Lava las frutas and that was number 2. The first step is to wash the fruit.) You do not have to write the whole sentence, just the commands, in order. If you write the whole sentences in order, like a recipe, you are eligible for a bonus point.
