La semana del doce de octubre (week of 10-19)

We will have an odd schedule this week Friday due to half the 7th graders going on a field trip on Friday and then again next Thursday when the other half of the 7th graders go on their field trip.
All students who are not on a field trip Friday, Oct. 23rd will have Spanish class from 10:25-11:15 and then have lunch from 11:15-11:45 (Or until they are dismissed for 4th hour). We will meet in the computer lab as normal.
Next Thursday, October 29th, we will have the same schedule: All Spanish students who are not on a field trip on Thursday, Oct. 29th will have Spanish class from 10:25-11:15 and then have lunch from 11:15-11:45 (Or until they are dismissed for 4th hour). 8th graders will participate in our Thursday class for our game and interviews, but then they will get to do a Day of the Dead Craft and maybe another activity as this will be their second extended class and all the 7th graders will just have one.
This week you will need your "libro" (book) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Work not completed in class will be tarea.
This is a reminder that as stated in my syllabus, I do not give credit for late work. Homework not turned in at the beginning of class when it is due, will receive 49%.

Tarea (homework): Set up your entrevista notebook page for tomorrow as you will interview people as soon as you come into class tomorrow. See Entrevista 4, using the entrevistas tab on my website. Also, write out this sentence with at least 2 adjectives:
“Yo soy ______ y _______.” One of the adjectives can be from today’s vocabulary; the other adjective should be a new one from pages 44 and 45 in the book (p. 73 lists the vocab too if you can't tell what something means from the pictures). You received your study guide for Monday's fill in the blank quiz today. So don’t forget to study.

Tarea (homework): Start a new vocabulary sheet called adjective opposites and add at least 5 sets of opposite adjectives in Spanish and English. You can find these on pages 44 y 45 y page 73. Some examples in English you could find are tall/short, lazy/hardworking, serious/funny...
Remember to study for the test.
If you want to redo yesterday's homework (#32 and 33) it is due on Thursday.

I can check them Thurs or Friday or via email. The adjectives will not be on Monday’s quiz, but pronouns and conjugation will. If you do this, you will earn 2 participation points for next week.
