La semana del dieciséis de mayo (week of 5-16)
On Friday (5-13), your homework was page 217 Act. 37, 1-5. We started it together in class on Friday. #1 and #2 are posted under last Friday's lesson with explanations.
Go to the previous lessons tab above if you need to see the notes I uploaded from last week, including the assignment we started together. I informed my classes this quarter that if you are absent and you do the notes from the day, you can earn 1 to 2 participation points for the day you were absent.
This week you will need your "libro" (book) todos los dias.
Work not completed in class will be tarea.
This is a reminder that as stated in my syllabus, I do not give credit for late work. Homework not turned in at the beginning of class when it is due, will receive 49%. However, homework that was turned in on time (and complete) may be redone for a better grade.
Tarea means homework. Examencito means quiz.
Spanish symbols: ¿áéíóúñ
lunes (Monday) --Necesitas tu libro.
Yo puedo repasar con verbos.
I can review with verbs.
Vocabulary:

Activities:
pon su tarea en la mesa para tarea, p. 217 Act. 37, 1-5 .
We have learned everything we need for the final exam, but I want to go back and do more listening activities and cultural activities.
Instead of a test on commands, we will be doing a project where groups will create skits using different elements from Chapter 6. Today, we're reviewing verbs from Chapter 6, with a conversation.
Work with your neighbor and underline all the verbs or verb phrases in the small Conversation sheet that starts with Verónica, make sure you know what pronoun goes with the verb to help you figure out the meaning of each sentence, and write out the translation, working with your neighbors.
We will do p. 223 Act 6 together.
Tarea: page 222 Act 2, Write the correct verb, conjugated correctly for each blank. You do not need to write the whole sentence.--You will use preferir and estar twice, and the other verbs from the box only once.
This is a copy of the conversation I passed out in class today. If you were absent, use the conversation below to answer the questions on page 223 Act. 6 for 2 participation points...also, if you are in Clase A, you can finish answering the questions (we started in class) and get a bonus participation point. The answers are below the conversation:
